What do you do with your spring days?
I've been in the mood for cleaning---and cleaning---and still haven't made a dent---but it always feels good.
Today, we'll play more than clean and will try and fly a kite at the park, have a picnic, and just enjoy it before the heat comes on like it will in a hurry here.
Just a couple of things to share today.
Using some fun colors and patterns from Melissa Frances on this card---and a vintage cardstock sticker or two.
This is a card made using my scraps--I couldn't bear to part with the trimmings from the edges of decorative paper, so I saved them and plopped them on this to use them up.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love my scraps? I'd have to say that they inspire me like nothing else---I save them and use them and love them and they drive me nutty, haha.
I want to direct you to a new favorite blog of mine---honest to goodness, this girl's work leaves me speechless---little works of art, and she participated in my Welcome Wednesday challenge and I wanted to share her creation with you all. Bibbis Dillerier
Thank you so much for participating in the challenge---you girls are so inspiring and I am having so much fun learning and looking and enjoying your creations!
Hope you are enjoying your day.
Melis

Hi M, oh i surely wish some of your "love for cleaning" would rub off on me...I could've been found practically in tears this past few days trying to motivate myself to get on with it...snif!
Back to the fun stuff...these are both BEAUTIFUL! Who knew all those beautiful colours in the first one went so perfectly...?
I also love my scraps - I have a few wee tricks that I use so that only the tiniest eeniest bit of "good" paper is ever thrown out...'spose I'm a bit of a paper anorak really...!!!!! bx

Melissa, I have been a fan of yours for quite some time, but have only recently found your blog. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
P.S.- On your "Thank You" card in the Jan CARDS issue, is that a pony-tale band you used? How very creative!!!!
