because I want to...
that's why :) This is breakfast...and I'm not one bit sorry about it. I have been quite a grouch lately...I figure it will turn me into one happy momma. And, really...who can resist a Santa Coke? I didn't even try to resist...just grabbed me a 12 pack and smiled all the way home. It's a simple pleasure....do you have one?
This day is going to be fuller than full....we are getting our trusses for the house today...I need to whip up something yummy to take to the workers, story hour, bills and displays at the store, make sure my little one has a happy day, and get ready for a day shopping for house stuff with my husband tomorrow....can't wait for that. So today, I'll put my head down and get right through it all and take him out for a steak in the big city tomorrow :)
A couple of things to share with you today....I seem to have a new favorite color combo on my mind right now....not sure how it happened, but I like it. I used a Hambly rub on here, along with October Afternoon paper, Doodlebug glitter, Kraft cardstock, Gold Shimmer cardstock,Aqua Mist ribbon, and Heartfelt Basic stamp set from Papertrey Ink on this.
More Hambly rub ons here....more October Afternoon paper....YUM, Papertrey Aqua Mist ribbon, Doodlebug glitter and brads, American Crafts felt, and Hero Arts stamps.
A fun fetish with fun colors :)
Well....it's time I scrubbed a toilet around here or something......
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Melis

These cards are wonderful! Personally, I think that a Diet Coke for breakfast is perfectly fine! I'm not a regular Coke kind of gal, but my DC and I spend many mornings together!

OH, I'm with you all the way w/that Santa Coke! I'm trying so hard to quit, but have to have one at least every other day! Love your new color combination - so very pretty. Have fun shopping for your new home.

You crack me up! When I was in high school I'd have a Coke for breakfast! I drink Diet now when we go out, which is often! Anyway, I love your cards - they are just beautiful and FUN! Have fun tomorrow!

You are too cute! For me it used to be Mt. Dew, but I weaned myself to Diet Dr. Pepper. Gotta have one each morning while I surf the net. LOL Love your cards, beautiful as always! =)

That can is so cute. Man, we don't get any cute things lihe that here at Christmastime, well except me of course ;-). Can't wait to hear more about your new house, it's a dream of ours to build our own house but land here is so out of control, it's not likely to happen unless we win the lottery. Are you scrapping the different stages of the build?

Oh, goodies for the house, you will have so much fun picking things out! We picked out our appliances a few weeks ago, doesn't do us any good right now though because we are still working on the plumbing. My BF is doing everything himself so it is taking awhile. I love Coke, Yummo! Love your creations as always!

Hey, if you're going to have a coke for breakfast why feel guilty right? It wouldn't be fun than! I kicked the caffine habit last march, but my simple pleasure since it's been so cold has been a cup of cocoa with marshmallows after dinner!
Great cards too! Love the cheerful colors. My fave is the second one!

LOL....too funny having a coke for brekky....for me it's too fizzy...makes me burp LOL. Not good! My love is chocolate...a little each day, usually at night with a cup of tea. Happy days Melissa! Hope the coke worked a treat on the grouchiness:-)

I have done this before now with a diet coke or a dr pepper not for a long long time though but not seen the Santa ones yet here in London, UK but when I do I'll be right there!!! :) Also at this festive time of year (my favourite holiday) you can get away with having a few extra treats...right? xx :)

I LOVE your blog & all your creations! I discovered your blog on Monday & have just finished reading the archives all the way back to the beginning!! Now I think I'm addicted to your blog! LOL!! Now, when you say you had coke for breakfast you mean as a drink with your food yes??? I don't drink any fizzy soda drinks (I'm a real English girl who drinks tea or water mostly!)but I do love the Christmas Cocca Cola adverts especially the one with the train. My 3 boys love it too!
Anyway, thanks for all your inspiration! Emily :o)

what was the saying, "Life goes better with Coke"! some days that is just so very true! I happen to like Diet Coke with Lime partially frozen so that there are lots of little ice crystals floating around. not that I am picky or anything. ;) of course my hubby says he thinks it tastes like furniture polish, but that is okay by me. I like it!
your cards are wonderful! and those colors really rock. the addition of the ribbon really makes it! :) have fun with all of your things to do! and the Coke Santa is probably my fave ever! we need him on a stamp! :D

LOVE THE COLOR COMBO OF YOUR CARDS!!!!!!!
ok, now that that has been said, I have to have my mocha mix every morning. Sometimes I don't even really want it, take a few sips and pour out the rest. I think it's an addiction I need to break, cause it's all sugar!
