good things in small, glittery packages...

Little gifts are my favorite....don't know what it is about a little package wrapped up just for me....but it makes me smile...my  mind starts wandering, I start dreaming, and it leaves me anxiously waiting to open it.

I have a little package to share with you today...created for Emma's Paperie.  Our challenge this week was to use Cindy's darling oval hexagon glass jars creatively.  Mine is filled with my most favorite holiday treat...Peppermint Moose Munch from Harry and David (did you know you can buy this in Target now???  How long has it been there and I have just looked right past it not knowing I could take some of this crunchy goodness home with me...it's probably a good thing that I just discovered this, right?)  Meliphillips_jargift_view1  Meliphillips_jargift_view2  Meliphillips_jargift_view3  Meliphillips_jargift_view4  This oval hexagon jar is the perfect size to fit right inside one of these darling gingerbread house boxes from  Martha Stewart.  The supplies and instructions for this project and many others from the Design Team can be found HERE

And....my friend Carolyn Peeler is hosting many wonderful Winter Cheer giveaways on her blog throughout the month.  I'll host a few myself here along with some of our other friends.  So...be sure to hop over there now....look for this image now and in the future on our blogs...and get ready to play along :) Winter cheer logo

I'm heading out here soon to check in on my dad and can't wait to give him a squeeze...I've missed him.

Have a wonderful day.

YUMMY!! What a great little sweet gift....so cutely packaged too!! Enjoy your visit with your Dad!!! HUGS!!

This is just the cutest! I love this idea. Super. Love the post from yesterday, too, but not sure where to find those chipboard houses you mentioned. Any ideas?

So, so cute! I love this gingerbread box. Enjoy your visit-your good cheer must surely be helping his healing along.

What fun projects!! Aren't those gingerbread boxes the cutest?! And you made yours even cuter ;)

Hugs!
Katie

Oh now, they are too cute. I do love them, wow. I tend to spend my time on here either gasping or drooling, lol. I love Harry and David's Peppermint Bark. They had that when we were in Woodbury Common last December and we got some. Don't think it lasted past the plane ride home though ;-). Hope your Dad is recovering on schedule and that your Mum is ok too. This is a tough time for your whole family.

Hugs to you girlie xx

I LOVE it Melissa! Sooooooooo adorable! :)

Oh...YUM!!! I envy the person who will be receiving this from you, Melissa! What a blessing to get a wonderful treat all packaged as beautifully as this!

I have been enjoying your projects this week, and want to thank you for sharing all of them! You never fail to inspire! :-D

So So So adorable :-) Char

Love this, Melissa! Terrific as always. :) Have fun visiting your pop!

Love this gift!

I love how you embellished the M.S. gingerbread house and made it a home.
Blessings to your dad.

I like your works so much... <3
