I'm so happy today, as I'm heading into the final stretch of my spring cleaning. My door is ADORABLE....it's the perfect color of red...it says, "welcome home", "come on it", "this is a happy home". The color is in fact called, "front door"....I'll have to take a picture or two. We planted our pansies, daisies, and happy little marigolds at about 8:00 in the evening the other night....it was too windy during the day, so we went out late, late, and planted under the moonlight...it was so much fun. My husband gabbed with the neighbors (my boy can TALK I tell you...he's definitely the chit chatter in our relationship), my little one watered the newly planted flowers, and it was just a perfect night for us.
Today I have a simple hello card for you....using up some KRAFT :) and some of my most favorite stamps from Hero Arts. They are our sponsor on the CPS blog this week and I am just tickled to be able to participate....LOVE HERO ARTS :)
This card makes me smile this morning....as does this picture of my dream laundry room...
(photo from Country Home magazine)
I'm just a smidgin' bold in the colors I love in my house...and for some crazy reason, my husband let's me do whatever....but I adore this happy place pictured above...gonna store this away in my mind for a bit....cute little nook for those darned dirty socks, eh?
It's back to work I go....hope you have a bit of sunshine today wherever you might be :)
Melis

Absolutely lovely. For some reason this card doesn't strike me as a "Melissa" card but it is great and I love it.
Wow!!! What a laundry room, huh? Having a room like that may make me more willing to actually do the laundry hehehe

Melissa - your card is such a happy one and fills me with joy. I can't wait to see your front door. I've always wanted a red door and black shutters for the windows.

Thanks.

Cute laundry room!! Now I want a rug in mine!!! Why not have something soft to stand on eh?
Glad you posted this inspiration for you, it's now one for me!
(And I'm currently doing things to make my laundry room cuter! Perfect timing)

Great laundry room. I recently painted mine a nice bright shade of sky blue, with white accents. Hoping it would make me love laundry. Then I made nice striped pedestals. Hoping it would make me love laundry. Ahem, hasn't worked yet. :O)
And a fantastic card too!

Darling card Melissa. Full of fun details and colors!
Love the laundry photo. Our home is FULL of red! Walls, furniture, shelves, baubles, orbs, floral arrangements, picture frames, window coverings, lamps, blah blah blah.....I'm not sure when I really started loving to use it so much. Maybe my curiousity for faux painting drove me to try new styles? I think I've fauxed almost every room in our home. lol. I'm intriqued by the fact that you can make paint look like wall paper. W/o the hassle!! For the first several years of our marriage our home was shabby and victorian. People used to say our home looked like a craft shop. lol. I haven't heard that for a long time. Due to the fact that I've redecorated everything in the last 3 years. Now it finally looks like a male lives here too! :)
I guess I've wrote a small novel today....I hope it doesn't bore you all to tears!!! O:

Hi Melissa! Please do post a picture of your door! And your flowers! It sounds like such a fun evening! The laundry room is awesome and now I'm thinking on doing a little work on mine! By the way, I read your interview on MoxieFab World yesterday, followed the link to Country Living and ended up subscribing. Did you know they are giving away a free Stampin' Up stamp and ink spot when you subscribe? BONUS! :-) Have a joyous day!
