Just tucked my little bean into bed...only 3 days of school left and then we'll settle into a new routine for a little while...I'll certainly enjoy having her with me...making noise, creating her Sierra messes, helping me slow down and take things at a different pace...and then it will be over and I'll be back to adjusting to the quiet of life again and missing her all over.
Our chick babies come Wednesday...I think I want them more for her than for me...I feel it's important for her to have chores, to care for other things, watch them grow, take pride in what she's done...but I will also certainly enjoy our crew of Brown Leghorns.
I am finally able to share a few of my Darkroom Door projects with you tonight...baby cards are of course my very most favorite cards to create...so I'm just tickled with Rachel's new baby themed products.
The card above uses the new Hello Baby Montage and Hello Baby Girl Wordstrip, Melissa Frances paper, and some tea-stained trim and other favorites.
This card uses the new Hello Baby Vol 1 Stamp set....such sweetness...you'll love this set.
The paper in the background was created by using some Melissa Frances Attic Treasures paper stamped with a stamp from this set...I love the vintage feel.
This card was created using the Hello Baby Vol 2 stamp set. I'm crazy for that notepad image...a new favorite of mine for sure.
Instructions and more supplies for each of these cards can be found HERE on the Darkroom Door blog. There are so many beautiful things there for you to enjoy created by the other designers.
One more little tidbit for you before I get to work for a bit tonight...something fun created just for Emma's Paperie based on a sketch I created.
I used Flower Soft in Lemon on this card...I've used it on flowers before and love the added texture and character it adds, but I wanted to try and cover chipboard with it for this card and love the effect...it comes in so many beautiful colors.
A supply list for this card can be found HERE.
Hope your week is off to a great start!
