Welcome Saturday...we've been waiting for you...you bring us happiness and comfort, for today, after a long week we can be 3 for a while instead of 2...
Today we'll play outside with daddy a bit more...he likes to get just as dirty as you do...you'll tinker in the garage and fix up this and that and he'll be happy to have his shadow back for a while.
Mommy will have a spring in her step and a smile in her heart to have daddy puttering around and will enjoy listening to her little girl chatter and follow him around...she'll even be smiling while she's folding laundry and cleaning...just to have daddy home. Sometimes she gets a bit lonesome for him.
This card uses Crafty Secrets new Sew Nice Creative Scraps...they are enchanting. I also used Glimmer Mist and a Framed Font from Tattered Angels, Webster's Pages trim and paper, scrunched seam binding from Memrie Mare, and vintage rhinestones.
Today Sierra and her daddy are working on my chicken coop...the only thing I wanted for Mother's Day were some chicks and a place to keep them...so, the chicks will be here soon and we're getting ready to house them...I'm so excited.
I'm anxious to start planting some pansies and other pretty things in pots to dress up my front porch. We'll have to go out of town to find our flowers...something fun to look forward to next weekend.
This card uses Papertrey Ink Just for You and Inside & Out: Thank You stamp sets, Chamomile Tea ink, Summer Sunrise cardstock, and a Vintage Cream button. I also used the Birds & Blossoms Creative Scraps from Crafty Secrets on this as well as scrunched seam binding from This Good Day.
Hope your Saturday is beautiful.
Melis

Guess what? My hubby is working on a new chicken house for our chicks. He is just about finished and it is so nice and big. I hope you get the chicken house of your dreams too!

How lovely to hear of your beautiful days as a family.
My hubby is currently out of town so I am a busy momma running them to baseball and wiping dirty hands etc.. I look forward to him coming home ... they have a way of making even the mundane chores seem more pleasant!!
Happy weekend my friend

Beutiful as always Melissa! I so want a chicken coop I can hardly stand it. Hopefully I will have one soon too. I found this a little while back through another blog I follow. I thought you might like to see it. It is a fabulous chicken coop. :) Enjoy!

I always love your creations yet often comment on your musings. I cannot help it as you have such a lovely way of sharing your inner thoughts and outward joys. I really could sit and read with great pleasure, a book of your joyful and grateful expressions.
