I love my country...hearing the National Anthem, putting my hand over my heart, watching my little girl place her hand over her heart, saying the Pledge of Allegiance....all things that make tears spring to my eyes.
I've always been fascinated with the story of Betsy Ross...must go back to my own personal love of fabric, thread, and a needle...
I couldn't resist creating my own shabby Betsy Ross dress form in honor of the 4th...created for Ally Scraps this month. You can find a supply list and instructions HERE.

I love to see my kiddos place their hands on their heart too! I love your dress forms. I made a bunch of 4th of July Paper Dolls recently too! On my blog I titled them "Paper Doll Army. lol! I love the 4th! Hope you have a great one:) ~Shelley O.
