I hope this week has been gentle on you...some are so hard, aren't they? Thank goodness we have a calm spell once in a while...I know how much I appreciate them. Around here it seems that we've been talking up St. Patty's day since Christmas...I love how excited my little girl is for every little event coming up around the corner...even the simple, small things....like wearing green and pinching her daddy. She is my breath of fresh air and my sunshine...perhaps a little, dark rain cloud once in a while...but so am I. I adore her for the joy she brings me.
One of my all time favorite stamp sets from Papertrey Ink is the Luck of the Irish set...something about the sentiments, the tiny clover...just a fun set to use. I wish I had set aside more time to use it this time of year.
I also used the Background Basics: Gingham and Tiny Tags set. The vintage image is from the Birds & Blossoms collection from Crafty Secrets. I used Memriemare's Easter Meadow scrunched seam binding, a Maya Road Green Thumb chipboard piece and leaf trinket pin.
One more project for you created for Emma's Paperie last week....based on a beautiful color challenge there.
All of the supplies used on this can be found HERE on the Emma's Paperie blog.
I'll leave you with a quote by one of my most favorite women...
"Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
— Marjorie Pay Hinckley
Love to you,
Melis

I love, love, love, your St. Patrick's Day card! I saw your adorable album over at Emma's last week. And, the quote is so true--we never know what someone is going through.
