September is here! One of my very most favorite months has made its arrival. My baby girl turns 8 this month, the Black-Eyed Susans have sprouted and are happily bobbing in the wind along the roadsides, the garden is ripe and ready, cornstalks already drying in the September sun, pumpkins on the vine, and a little whisper of fall cooling us off nicely in the evenings.
Before I switch gears and dive into all things fall-ish, I have one last fresh and fruity, summer berry project to share.
I created this project for Ally Scraps a while back. Supplies and instructions can be found HERE. Just a fun gathering of envelopes fastened together with handmade embellishments, mini cards, and tags and such tucked into the pockets. A fun gift for a fellow crafter.
I love, love, love this idea....I must make me one! You can find a tutorial on making your own at 2gyspygirls.com.
Off to change the bedding....nothing like crawling into a clean, fresh bed at night.
Enjoy your day.

Beautiful, of course. My little guy turned 9 on 8/30. He's my youngest and it makes me sad. I love all the new things he's able to do and watching him grow but, I know my days are numbered. My oldest is a senior in high school this year. I keep thinking how did we get here so fast? I guess the key is to enjoy every moment and to except that all things change! At any rate love your creations! I have a thing for roses and strawberries!!!!

Love what you've created, so pretty, what a special little booklet! And those little pincushion jars, I MUST look them up, funny I was just picking up some pins yesterday off the kitchen counter and searched in my sewing basket for my pincushion . . . gone! Must have been packed in an odd place when we moved, but what a great reason to try making a new one!!!
