Here's to cozy fires, warm socks, hot cocoa, cinnamon candles, plump pumpkins, rosy, red noses, sweaters, simmering soups, apple pies, and rustling leaves.
I created this paper bag pocket, inspired by Mish, using printable images once again from Made by Janet, tea-stained twill tape, K& Co. dimensional stickers, WRMK chipboard stickers and paper, Making Memories and My Mind's Eye paper, and the following stamp sets from Papertrey Ink: Autumn Acorns, Rustic Branches, and Spooky Sweets II.
The canvas hearts are from Basically Bare and the die cut angel wings from the Love Lives Here: Holiday collection.
A few things I love today:
A-DOR-A-BLE! (hummadeedledee) There's a tutorial for these sweet things on her blog. I must, must try one.
Gingerbread hearts. Sigh...such simple things make me so happy. (minlillaveranda)
Snickerdoodle and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Sandwiches...a perfect snack for this weekend. (thestirringplace)
Apple pie in a jar. Another must try. (homemadesimple)
What could possibly be cuter? Butter Button Cookies! (pinterest)
Happy day today!
Melis

Michelle I love getting your blog posts. I would like to hang out with you for a day and wach you craft your lovely cards. They remind me of things(treasures) from my grandma's trunk. They are so warm, eclectic and full of love. Just the way gifts were made years and years ago. Your art gives me such a cozy feeling and makes my heart sing every time I see it. I would love if you did some videos sometime to show your thought process and construction. =D

Melissa, I seriously would be so amazingly *uninspired* if I you weren't sharing your creations in Blogland. I literally gasped when I saw the projects! My first thought was HOW DOES SHE DO IT?!!!!! Such amazing eye candy, shabby chic Autumn/Halloween yummyness.. You ever walk into one of those old General Stores, smell apple cinnamon, feel the old wood floors crack beneath your feet, see treasures laid out everywhere before your eyes??? That's what I feel when I see your projects, especially this one.. I get that same feeling of pure happiness that I get when I walk into those stores and have loads of cash to do whatever I want with!!!!! Maybe you should open a store and decorate it too! (Do it somewhere near Michigan!!! ROFL, I'll let ya go now!) Hugs
