Hi everyone! Today I have some exciting news to share...a couple of items actually. The first you'll notice at the top of this post. I have been asked to join the Freckled Fawn Design Team and I am so excited. I think their products are the sweetest bits of craftiness and they inspire me so much. Today, I am participating in a blog hop/giveaway announcing the new design team members and we have each been asked to create a little something for you using items from Freckled Fawn.
Freckled Fawn is full of beautiful Washi Tape and I have been having so much fun using it. I used my favorite Heart and Cloud Washi Tape on the card above along with a doily and trim, also found at Freckled Fawn.
Trims, tapes, doilies, ribbons, labels, tags, etc....so many sweet and unique items can be found there.
Another of my favorite items found at Freckled Fawn are the Daisy Embellishments. They just make me smile looking at them.
In order to properly celebrate Freckled Fawn's first Design Team, each designer is giving away a $5.00 gift card to the shop along with another, larger giveaway found on the Freckled Fawn blog. Lastly, while you're reading this, I am out of town, taking my little one to see her Grandpa and Grandma. My little bean informed me today that she is ready for some change, because a girl needs change...her words. So, my mom and I are taking her to get her hair cut. You might be wondering what the big deal is...well, her hair goes all the way down to her bottom...I LOVE her hair and love doing all sorts of things with it, and we're going with a drastic change here in this little 8 year olds life...she wants a bob. So, off goes about 14 inches or so! Her daddy is having a very hard time with it. Me, I'm excited and can't wait to see her sweet, blue eyes peeking out from her new do!

Such a pretty card..Your colors and ribbon treatments are always so great. I had to smile about your daughter haircut..It is a big deal (heck, it is a big deal for me and I am 45...ha...)

Congrats on being on the team! This is such a great company with some fun stuff! My favorite product they have is the white on pink striped washi tape....although those doilies are delightful as well!

I just love the hearts and cloud tape. I bought it myself a little while back when you first mentioned Freckled Fawn.
Good luck with your little bean's haircut. I went through that last summer when my bug decided he wanted a buzz cut for the warm weather. It was his first independent style decision.

Congrats on the DT! You are a wonderful addition for them. I love the card especially the bow and daisy. I think my favorite item are the doilies. Your little one getting her hair cut is really a big change and I know she'll look so sweet! And if she doesn't like it, it will grow back.

Congrats on making the Freckled Fawn team Melis! They have soo many gorgeous items - I love this card you have made! So sweet and springy :) I too am anxious awaiting the Wild Flowers and also the Prairie Flowers :)
Your little one's hair cut should be interesting - a bob! That blows my mind. I hope you will post pics. She could give her hair to Locks of Love if she wants to :) My hubby would have a hard time with that too :)
