The mountains, fresh air, no cell phones, no internet, a cozy sleeping bag, campfires, sticky fingers and faces from S'mores, canoe rides, pine and aspen trees, Dutch Oven Potatoes, Granny's homemade biscuits cooked over the campfire for breakfast, homemade apricot jam, hikes, staring up at the stars while falling asleep, my sweet husband who has very gently eased me into being a camper :)
I'm home again and enjoying my warm shower and soft bed but have the most wonderful memories of out latest camping trip. I LOVED it...and I'm not really a super great camper. I will most definitely be looking forward to next year though.
Tonight I have a couple of projects to share with you using lots of Melissa Frances goodies. Stickers from the C'est la vie Collection, paper from the Attic Treasures Collection...
My most favorite new item...Melissa Frances Zipper Ribbon! It comes pleated so that it curves naturally and makes creating flowers so easy and fun. Jewel Buttons and Reproduction Glass Buttons....oh my, they are so lovely. Sweet Ivory Suede Leaves from Freckled Fawn and crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot.
The most darling and shabby Printed Kraft Envelopes...
Pink Crocheted Lace and Pink Delicate Flower Blossoms.
Lastly, Vintage Rose Fabric Tape from Freckled Fawn...too cute for words, I love this stuff.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Melis
Love these! I think Melissa Frances is my favorite line! I've never camped, but you make it sound wonderful. How I would love a biscuit and homemade apricot jam! I think looking at the stars at night is one of the most beautiful sights in life!

Your card and envelope are amazing! Your weekend sounds like it was amazing as well...I am married to an outdoorsman and am not a big camper myself but spent my honeymoon in the Boundry Waters under the stars and it made me see the outdoors very differently! We had our BIG move to our new house last weekend and our service provider couldn't get the Cable TV, phone or Internet working for over a week, I think I had withdrawals from the TV and Internet (not the phone) and from not being able to visit your sweet site! Glad to be back and have to go see all your posts I have missed!
Crafty Hugs,
Pendra

Hi Melissa,
I'm the one on the PTI forum looking for a specific sentiment stamp set about "so good to see you". Would love the links you spoke of. Thanks for taking the time!!!

I just adore Freckled Fawn, and that rose tape is divine. Thanks for sharing "your favorite things" and inspiring me to try new techniques.
You are a blessing to me, Melissa. Thanks for that!
