My favorite time of the day, one of them I should say as I have many, is just as the sun is coming up. I've been getting up early each morning for a couple of years now to head out into the hills and run. I have come to love, love, love this part of my day...I crave it and it provides me with a clear head and focus. My husband started joining me on my run about 6 months ago or so and I love it even more now. This morning, the alarm went off at 6 and we were off, beating the sun and getting to see the it start rising above the mountains. It was the most glorious color of pink, from pale pink shades to bright coral...I always consider beauty like this, little miracles and signs that we are being thought of from above.
Some mornings my husband and I talk the whole way while huffing and puffing along, some mornings we run in silence, both lost in out thoughts of what the day will bring or just enjoying the early morning, sometimes he pesters and teases me the whole way, sometimes I get him back, sometimes we race...sometimes I let him win, ha, even though he is like a freight train and can kick my hiney any day. It's so fun to start the day out this way. Puts a smile on my face from the beginning.
Today's card was created for Emma's Paperie and is based on a sketch there. Are you beginning to catch on to my love of Basic Grey Paper House and Clippings :) Can't get enough of these two lines...they're just fun to use and fiddle around with.
Still haven't had enough zucchini bread, so today I must try these! Zucchini Bread Cupcakes from Mommy I'm Hungry...don't you love that name? I hear that multiple times each day... :)
Enjoy your day!
Melis

Hi Melissa!!
Once again I am in awe of your creativity! Your card is so sweet and beautiful. You are always overflowing with inspiration. You are truly gifted. Sometimes I feel wonderful bursts of creativity and other times I have difficulty summoning it.
I start my day around the same time as you. I can't run, so I walk on the wooded hiking trails in my subdivision instead. I cherish those moments of being in nature and watching the world around me as it wakes up for the day! People who like to sleep in don't know what they're missing-lol!
Hugs,
Nancy

You make me SMILE! Not only are your cards beautiful, but you just are like a ray of sunshine! Just to hear the way you view the world is so uplifting and makes my day to listen to hear to you talk about your home, husband and of course your little bean! But you also see what alot of miss in the little things around you, in the land and sky and even in the loving way you cook for your family! I have raised my children and have seen my grandaughter graduate and start college this year...I guess I am saying my life has hit it's peak and is winding down (not that there isn't ALOT left to do) but I wish that I had seen the world through your eyes when I was your age. Keep your beautiful attitude and sharing it with me, you truly are so special and I enjoy sharing my little piece of the world with you, your gorgeous projects and your inspirational stories in my day!

Love this sweet card. It is perfect for your post today about your early morning run. I can't run, but I do love to walk. In fact, I just took a nice walk with my husband before dinner. It's been so hot here that I have slacked off walking, so I'm happy that the weather is more tolerable so I can resume it again.

So enjoyed this post! Glad you start your days in such a special way with your dear husband. It is a blessing to move our bodies. I worked out with a girlfriend today for the first time in a long while and we had fun catching up.
Love your beautiful card and that sweet sun and the pink colors! So pretty and fresh!
