Welcome back to day 4 of Papertrey Ink's 6 year anniversary. If you're a Year of Flowers stamp set lover, you'll love today's announcement...the Year of Flowers die collection. You can find out details about the contest on Nichole's blog...you won't want to miss it. Also, changes to the newsletter will be announced today as well.
I love this time of year as it is a wonderful time to celebrate special people that I love, and it happens to be the month that my husband proposed to me, with roses in hand...so, for my card today, I tried to go the clean and simple route and used the Year of Flowers: Roses stamp set and coordinating die in celebration of that special day that seems just like yesterday. The sentiment is from the Fillable Frames Additions 2 stamp set. The ribbon across the top is Soft Stone Grosgrain and is such a lovely compliment to white.
And then, I chose to make a stepped-up version that uses the Stitches & Swirls stamp set embossed with Blush Zing Embossing Powder with my sentiment framed using a heart cut from the Framed Out #11 die. I also added tiny hearts springing from the Stitches & Swirls stamp using the With All My Heart stamp set. The scrunched seam binding is from My Craft Spot.
Thanks so much for visiting. Be sure to stop by Nichole's blog to get the scoop on today's contest.
