Good morning. Outside my window there's a beautiful day forming with spotless, blue skies, the tiniest breeze, farmers in the distance burning their fields to get ready for planting, and fresh air that whispers that spring is near. The view out my window is always changing. I look forward to what it holds every day.
My card today uses a new favorite love of mine, the Darkroom Door Window Frame stamp. I've forever had a love for shabby, old, weathered window frames, in fact I have a collection of them, some on display, others tucked away in the basement until I do something with them...they are lovely to me. I love to think about the views from these windows, what they have learned from those that have lived inside and what they have seen from the outside. They grow more beautiful with age and life.
I also used a digital image purchased from the most beautiful etsy shop called LoveCreationGal. The scrunched seam binding is from Craft Spot and the flower was cut from layers of tulle and vintage trim cut using Papertrey Ink's Lovely Layers die collection. The washi tape across the bottom of the card is from Freckled Fawn.
I hope the view out of your window today, whether it be filled with snow covered grounds, busy city skyscrapers, farmland like mine, mountains and pines, gray skies and rain, or rolling ocean waves is beautiful and speaks happiness to your soul.
Melis
P.S. I have a couple of projects to share with you available on the Darkroom Door blog.

What a stunning card. LOVE that stamp and digi image and have checked out both those sites. More for the wishlist! LOL. Thank you.

Love this! So soft and pretty! Thanks for the reminder that dies need only cut card stock. I love the die cut lace layered over the tulle. Such a pretty accent!
As always, thanks for being such an inspiration!
