Oh, and I do.
I had a moment today where I was able to observe someone loving their life, expressing all of the simple things that created such happiness and joy for them and it made me realize how very happy I am, how much I love my life, how grateful for it, ups and downs, the bitter and sweet, all of it.
I love creating, playing with paper and color, texture, bits and bobs, ink and ribbon...just a few things that make me happy.
Today's card is based on another contest found at Papertrey Ink in celebration of their 6th anniversary. I used Sketch #2 and had so much fun. Sketches are such a great way to boost your creativity. I admit that sometimes sketches can make me pull my hair out, but I love the simplicity to Nichole's sketches because they leave plenty of room for your own interpretation.
I pulled out an oldie but definitely a goodie, the Spiral Bouquet stamp set, along with Ocean Tides ink, the Sending You, Movers & Shakers: Poppers, Tag Sale #2, and Framed Out #12 dies, Vintage Cream and Aqua Mist felt, and Soft Stone buttons. I also used a bit of burlap which will soon be available in Papertrey Ink's Boutique Bargains section of the store.
The lovely scrunched seam binding is from Craft Spot.

Thanks for stopping by.
