I love adding texture and touchable elements to the things I create. I love the warmth and life they add. I have created a few things for the Darkroom Door blog using the most beautiful stamps from the Lace Rubber Stamp Set.
I love how detailed the images are and how they have the ability to bring in that texture and dimension I enjoy incorporating.
I used Darkroom Door's Art De Fleur Montage images as the focal points to my tags and distressed both with sandpaper and ink and then layered them onto a scrap of burlap.
This card uses the Lace Rubber stamp set across the front and each image has been embossed with Zing Blush embossing powder which gives added texture and depth. The sentiment, also from the Lace set, was stamped directly onto a Love Letters Photochip and embossed with silver embossing powder.
The layered flower was stamped with the French Script Background Stamp and distressed with ink to age it a bit. Both of these sets compliment each other so beautifully.
Lovely Vanilla Bean scrunched seam binding was used on both the tags and the card and can be found at Craft Spot.
Hope you're day is beautiful!
Melissa
