Hello again! Hope you're all enjoying a beautiful Sunday. We're nestled in by the fire today, enjoying the quiet and calm.
I'm working through using some of my favorite Christmas supplies, some new, some old. The paper and chipboard used on both of theses cards today are from Echo Park's Reflections collection. I can't seem to get enough of this line as I love the mix of patterns included in the traditional colors of Christmas.
The bitty poinsettias, holly leaves, and gingerbread men are from my stash of oldies and are from Martha Stewart. Some of the cutest embellishments I have seen!
This Christmas I have enjoyed watching my little girl really begin to enjoy the giving that comes with this time of year. She is thoughtful and completely intent on thinking of what she can give others and my heart opens up to overflowing, as I love the true meaning of Christmas and feel like she is a gift I get to open every day of my life, and all because of our Savior, His love, His life, and His birth.
Next to my home, the photo above is of my most favorite place at Christmastime and anytime. Tonight we will be watching the 2013 Christmas Devotional which is actually where my husband and I went on our first date 15 years ago, just one of the reasons I love this special event. Hope you'll tune in. You can read all about it and watch it online HERE.
"The Christmas season is a time to celebrate the priceless gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His birth, which we commemorate during this season, is more than the symbol of a holiday. He is the Son of God, the Redeemer of all mankind, the King of kings, the Prince of Peace, and our joy and salvation. This Christmas season will have greater meaning as we seek to follow His example and live His teachings."
