I had so much fun creating with this set and love the life it brings to Stitches & Swirls. For my first project, I created a set of gift tags. My mother-in-law's birthday was yesterday and I put together this beautiful, old mason jar filled with vintage trims, spools, buttons, etc., as she loves old treasures just as much as I do. Once I had it all put together, I decided to create a coordinating gift tag, and then a couple of extra for other gifts.
I used the Limitless Layers: 1 3/4" and 2 1/2" Circles dies, Rustic Cream and Kraft cardstock, patterned paper, and the Inspiration Impression Plate. My solid images are stamped in Melon Berry, Autumn Rose, Fresh Snow, and Spring Moss, with the stitches stamped in True Black.
I used Aqua Mist, Autumn Rose, and Spring Moss on this tag and the sentiments stamped on all of the tags comes from the Lovely Layers stamp set...love that font.
My next card uses Limeade Ice and Aqua Mist stamped images from Solid Stitches & Swirls with embossed stitches in gold from the Stitches & Swirls stamp set. I stamped these images on a die cut tag cut using a new die cut you'll learn about soon. I then cut a vellum snowflake using the Fancy Flakes die, attached a strip of Vintage Cream twill, and embellished it with a Maggie Holmes resin flower.
The sentiment is from Tremendous Treats: Christmas stamp set.
Lastly, I used the Solid Stitches & Swirls to create a background. My images are stamped in Sweet Blush, Aqua Mist, Melon Berry, and Harvest Gold, with stitches from Stitches & Swirls stamped in Classic Kraft.
I used the Mat Stack 6 collection to frame in my sentiment which was die cut using another new product, the Wonderful Words: Love die. The tiny Melon Berry felt flowers were also cut using a new product, you'll learn more about soon as well :).
