Hey there! I'm happy to be here with you today sharing a fun Papertrey Ink Tip & Trick. I'm all about my beloved dies and love using them in creative ways. So buckle in for a super easy and addictive trick use minimal supplies.
Tag Sale dies are among my most loved and used dies, so I've pulled out a couple and have transformed them into bite-size or pocket-size pockets, creating the sweetest little spot to tuck a stamped tag, note, or other trinket. This card uses the Tag Sale #8 die along with the Back to School and Apple Prints stamp sets. I used a Wet Paint Cuts die across the front of my pocket to accent the theme of my card.
And tucked inside the pocket is a Tremendous Tag stamped, embellished, and tied with Baker's Twine.
Now a little bit about how I put these pockets together. I prefer using double-sided paper so that the inside and outside of your pocket has color or pattern...but it is certainly not necessary.
After my tags were cut, or as you can see here, I used the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 3 die which formed a fun, tiny file folder, I folded up the bottom of each, just enough to make a pocket. And, then secured each with staples. Liquid adhesive would work just fine too, or try some washi tape, as shown on my card sample above.
Cute little bundles, wouldn't you say?
Now for a couple of samples using these particular dies. This uses the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 3 die and is wrapped with some Vintage Cream Twill, followed by a Summer Sunrise button, and a Double Ended Banner stamped using the Friendship Jar stamp set.
For the tag tucked inside I used the Flower Fusion #12 stamp set.
I've found that the Tremendous Tags dies are just the perfect size for tucking down inside each pocket.
So, what do you say? Will you give a few of these a try? I'd sure love to see what you come up with.
Thanks for visiting!
