Hello again! With June upon us and summertime settling in, I'm doing my best to adjust :). I have to admit that I love a nice, solid routine...the routine of the school year is something we thrive on here, so when summer hits, the routine falls by the wayside, and while I know that's a good thing...it's still an adjustment for all of us.
The new Art with Heart Challenge is Summer Celebrations, and I pulled out my Sizzix Eileen Hull ATBs dies (Artistic Trading Blocks), my Crate Paper Oh Darling collection, some gingham, florals, reds, white, and aquas, and created a little something summery.
I love these dies because of the ease with which they can be put together and dressed up for any occasion under the sun.
I also used a bit of Melissa Frances layered trim to mix up my layers just a bit, and then of course, all sorts of Oh Darling embellishments from chipboard, to dimensional stickers, to die cut shapes, wood shapes, etc.
You can always play along with the Art with Heart challenges. They are always a great way to jumpstart your creativity.
Thanks for visiting!
P.S. There's a fun giveaway you'll want to read about on the Crate Paper blog:).
