Hello friends! Welcome to the first group post of June for Papertrey Ink. It's a fun one! I'm don't usually create masculine cards....I'm always drawn to pink and cream and all things feminine, so creating for today's post was a bit outside of my comfort zone, but I LOOOOOVED it! Need to do it more often :).
We were asked to create a couple of projects showing these fun products in action, so let's begin!
My card uses the new Road Signed stamp set and coordinating dies, along with the new Road Signed & Numbers set. I used Ocean Tides, Ripe Avocado, True Black, Fine Linen, Americana, Scarlet Jewel, and Canyon Clay ink.
I used Ocean Tides Polka Dot paper in the background and pulled in some older stamp sets to fit the theme of my card. Background Basics: Text Style, Road Trip, and Pedal Pusher were all used....I love using my older sets with new.
I then created a gift box to coordinate with my card using the darling new Stitched Car dies, the Need for Speed and Road Signed & Numbers stamp sets.
I decided to paper piece my stitched car together instead of using felt, as I love combining different patterns of paper. I used Ocean Tides Stipe paper as the body of my card, accenting with scraps of paper I had on hand.
I then used one of the Road Signed die cuts and turned it into a tag, using the Tiny Tags stamp set to customize this tag for "Dad".
These darling products are perfect for the boys in your life, big and small and I had so much fun creating with them in mind.
