Hey there! Thanks for stopping by today! It's my turn to share with you Papertrey Ink's newsletter Tips & Tricks. I've got something sweet prepared for you...little packages of love for the little people in your life.
There are so many different supplies that can work for these pocket love notes, so keep that in mind when you create yours. I'm just here to provide an idea for you, using the supplies that you may have on hand.
It's the time year when we spoil our sweethearts, big and small, old and young, with our love. I started with the Seed Packet die and paper from the Shakers + Sprinkles kit along with Sheer Basics Vellum. Once assembled, these make perfect pockets for love notes.
The front of each pocket was embellished using the Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Hearts, the Limitless Layers: Heart Stitches, and the banner from the Paper Clippings: Joy to the World Details Die collection.
I created my love notes by using the Spiral Notebook Page and Moments Inked: Basic Pages dies. I added character and stamping to each love note by using the Monthly Moments: February and Monthly Moments: Library Card stamp sets. The ticket with hearts and memo with hearts images are my favorites :).
I used the same colors on each pocket and love note, rotating between Hibiscus Burst, Hawaiian Shores, and Green Parakeet for my sentiments and ledger details on the inside of the pockets.
Each love note was embellished using die cuts from the XOXO die collection, using Hawaiian Shores and Pink Peony cardstock. I created layers with them and simply attached each using staples.
Inside each pocket there's plenty of room not only for the love note but for a sweet treat or two as well. We are Tootsie Pop and Ghirardelli fans here :).
Such a fun project that uses your Papertrey Ink supplies in creative ways. These would be fun for older kids to help assemble and share with their friends as well.
Thanks so much for your visit! Wishing you a sweet weekend.
