Ready for a little more from Papertrey Ink? Their April release is truly spectacular...so hard to choose a favorite new product. My first card uses the new Initial Sentiments: Birthday stamp set. It's so much fun to get creative with!
I chose to use the lovely scripted initials because I wanted to create a feminine birthday card. My image is stamped on vellum in watermark ink and then heat embossed in white embossing powder. I then stamped my second sentiment on a die cut banner and attached it across the bottom portion of my initials, right where there is a gap left for doing just so.
In the background I used the new Pen & Pink stamp set to create a patterned background on my Mix & Mat: Scallops die. I then used flowers and dies from the Bitty Bouquet stamp set to bring in the frills :).
My next card uses the beautiful new Flower Mandalas II die collection to create my shabby, over-sized flower. I used felt, trim, and fabric with the dies to create my lovely layers.
In the background and for my sentiment I used the new Circled Symbols stamp set....SO much fun! I stamped my sentiment on a die cut Made with Love Tags 2 die, and heat embossed the heart circle with Fairy Tale embossing powder from WOW!.
This set can certainly be used for many different styles and is playful enough for so many fun techniques.
