Hello there! Welcome to another fun and creative day with the Reverse Confetti Crew. Today we're sharing a few "home decor & more" projects that you can whip up for Christmas.
I am completely in love with the DIY snow globe jars that seem to be everywhere right now, so I've tried my hand at one and will be making more of these with my daughter. Such a fun and inexpensive holiday project.
I simply turned a small jar on its lid, after adhering a couple of bottlebrush trees and tiny reindeer to the seal portion of the lid. I then added my faux snow, screwed the lid on nice and tight, and started embellishing the outside of the jar.
I used the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and white glittered cardstock and added the smallest of the die cut snowflakes to the outside of my jar, adhering them with Beacon Fabri-tac.
I added a tag, created with the Vintage Ornaments stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts and the Leafy Wreath Confetti Cuts. I created my tag base by using the center circle from the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts, die cutting it from Cloud White cardstock.
To embellish the base of my snow globe, I wrapped pink seam binding around the outer edge of the lid and tied it in a bow, adding some trim and tulle to create a messy, junk bow, that I love so much. I then tied on my tag and embellished the center of the bow using glittery, pink berries.
Lastly, I added a large plastic, glittered snowflake to the bottom of my snow globe and attached the entire thing to a ribbon wrapped wooden spool. Lots of fun and ultra addicting :). You may see a few more of these pop up on my blog between now and Christmas.
