Good morning! Are you ready for a new year? A fresh, new start? I happen to love a new beginnings and a clean slate :). I'm so happy to be joining you in 2017 with more creative ideas...it's a treat for me to be here doing what I love, surrounded by you!
The Papertrey Ink Sr. Team is revisiting the Hill Series this month....love each and every one of the sets in this collection. I chose to use the Summer Hills and Winter Hills stamp sets on my first card. My house was stamped in watermark ink on patterned paper and then heat embossed using white powder, and then cut out and attached to my die cut Tag Sale #1.
This next card is one that I wanted to go back and fix over and over again, but decided to just let it be. Does this ever happen to you? I drive myself crazy sometimes with my perfectionistic tendencies :). I used the Spring Hills stamp set on this card, focusing on pale pastels and bright, bold colors to chase the winter blues away.
I stamped my image using watermark ink again, heat embossing it using white powder, and then using my Zig watercolor makers to bring in the color.
In the background I used more images from Spring Hills along with the Shine stamp set, stamping in Summer Sunrise, Lovely Lady, Hibiscus Burst, Soft Stone, and Bright Buttercup. My sentiment is stamped in Stormy Sea across the bottom.
There's plenty more to enjoy on the blogs listed for you below:
Happy, Happy New Year!
