I have the night to myself--ooodles of time to get to work---but I'm beat---beater than beat---beater than beater than beat---gotta get my rear in gear though.
Today was our Primary Activity Day and well, we had a water activity planned, since nothing beats the heat like a little slip 'n slidin'---anyway, the city wouldn't allow us to turn on the water, so we all just withered slowly away--all 50 of us adults and little ones---big, fat flop---BUT, I think the kids had fun---i filled 100 water balloons ahead of time, and we played water balloon volleyball 'til they were gone---then we withered---lol!
So....my farmer's tan is getting glorious this year---that's the good news---bad news is---I can't muster up any energy tonight.
Tomorrow the CPS Color Challenge will go up---and I thought I'd post mine---you know, to keep you on your toes---can ya guess the challenge here?
Hope you'll join in---these are my all-time favorite colors.
Worldwin cardstock, K&Co. paper, die cut, and sticker, Melissa Frances buttons and chipboard heart, Carolace Trim, Delta acrylic paint.
Ohhhhh---and that fancy white delivery truck came my way today and delivered the June and July issues of CARDS magazine, and the Babies Idea Book---I wanna peek at them so badly, but I know I'll fall asleep tonight.
That's it---gotta get to work----ohhhh except, stay tuned for a new weekend challenge coming tomorrow---sound good? No prizes this time---just a good old fashioned challenge.
night.

Sounds like we had the same kind of day - some time to ourselves, but not the energy to really take full advantage of it.
Beautiful card for the color challenge!

Oh too bad about the Primary activity day. But I am sure they had fun with all the water balloons. Your card is Beautiful. I love the colors too. In fact they are the colors through out my house. Can't wait to see what challenge you post.

Gorgeous card, Melissa. I'm guessing there's some red in the color challenge (uh, duh, Audrey):)
Wish I could be around to see your fun weekend challenge, but I'll be heading out of town to the beach. Poor me, right? I'll miss playing along, though.

Too bad about the activity day. That sort of stinks, but kids love a good water ballon game.
I bet that my farmer's tan looks even better than yours--I've been getting fried at baseball all week-- LOL!!! Linda
