do you still have them? Definitely one of life's simple pleasures I tell ya---big milk & cookie fans here.
Here is the recipe for my Chocolate Chip Cookies---I didn't make the Applesauce version---but I'll post that recipe if you'd like it too.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup shortening
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Oodles of chocolate chips
**Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Blend in flour, baking soda, and salt. I add a splash or two of milk at this point to get my dough to be a bit sticky---don't want it too dry, but it may be because of the dry area I live in---you might not need any. Mix in chocolate chips, roll in to balls, and bake for 10-12 minutes!
Here are a couple of cards for the card sketch blogs this week. The first is for the CPS blog:
Paper is from Paper Loft, stamps from Doodlebug and Close to my Heart, Making Memories ribbon, Prism cardstock, ColorBox ink, and CTMH watercolor pencils.
The second is for the Sketch This Cards blog:
Bazzill cardstock, SEI paper and tag, CI paper , Making Memories ribbon and rubon, Melissa Frances buttons.
These are both super fun sketches, although I admit the second kicked my hiney---I struggled with it---so give them a try!
Melis
Love them Melissa the cookies and
the cards. I eat too many cookies {lol}
