Good afternoon!
I'm knee-deep in projects at the moment...knee-deep in Polly Pockets too...love having my little shadow at my feet doing our thing together, but wanted to say a quick hello and offer up a fun challenge.
First, how about a little project I created for Emma's Paperie to kick of the month of September? The color of the month is brown.....yum, how I love this color and the endless possibilities of colors that you can pair with it. This is a fun little Jenni Bowlin notebook with another bird of course. All of the supplies I used on this can be found here on the blog. And, then of course while you're there make sure to check out the amazing creations from the other designers there.
So, seeing as how I am buried right now...I thought we could have a little fun to get you all up and creating with me! I have a simple challenge in mind with a fun give-a-way at the end.
The challenge will last until next Tuesday night, September 16th at midnight MST. I will draw a winner randomly on Wednesday morning and will award the lucky girl a couple of things I love to "feather my nest" with.
The challenge is this:
1. Create a card that contains at least one bird image (can be found on patterned paper, stickers, stamps, chipboard die cuts, etc. Any kind of bird---owls are so fun right now, how about a crow because fall is upon us---whatever you'd like.
2. You can enter as many times as you like using a different card.
3. Post your creation in an online gallery or on your blog and then come back here to this post and link me to it---I don't want anyone to get lost in the shuffle :)
The winner will be chosen randomly and will receive a couple of my favorite household must-haves and favorites.
These are favorites of mine that I love to splurge on occasionally--they may seem simple, but they make my little nest a little warmer. I love Gooseberry Patch cookbooks and I will send the winner a new cookbook. I also love cute dishtowels and dishcloths and specifically love Park Designs. So, I'll send the winner a cute little collection of towels and cloths as well. How does that sound----silly how simple little things like these make me happy.
Alright---ready go! Let me know if you have any questions. I am preparing myself to be wowed :)
I'm off to get ready for Story Hour---did ya know I have I new job---yep, I'm the Story Hour lady---I'm really enjoying it.
