It's such a beautiful day today....my husband has started his quest to have the most beautiful lawn in the neighborhood :)...we are enjoying spring outside, blossoms popping out on the fruit trees, and the baby chicks are all of the sudden not quite babies anymore.
A sweet baby card for a new chick....Melissa Frances paper, trim, and rubon, Maya Road chipboard, Crafty Secrets Cotton Scraps, Graphic 45 paper, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, and Doodlebug Glitter.
Getting ready to post this in my etsy shop...just needs a little tender lovin' care and then it's ready. This is my original project retired from The Scrappy Gourmet. Everything Melissa Frances...blank and ready to be filled in with sweet little baby details :)
I was asked a few days ago about a couple of books I have contributed to and when they might be available. They are available to pre-order through Amazon.com right now.
The first is this called The Scrapbook Embellishment Handbook by Sherry Steveson. Crazy, I know...but I have LAYOUTS in this...no cards, just so you know. It's a beautiful publication. Here are a couple of peeks at a project or two of mine in this....the upper left corner and middle bottom are peeks at a layout of mine as well. sigh....how I miss these baby days...the little curl on top of her head...those sweet and ultra chubby cheeks...even diaper duty...I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat :)
The second book which contains some of my cards is called Scrapbook Secrets by Kimber McGray. Loads of beautiful projects and amazing artists in this as well.
And....a little look into our happy spring day today...
Loves and hugs.
Melis

I bought the pregnancy kit (and the house album) for a future daughter-in-law, but have never completed them. So I was hoping your completed album might be one of the items in your store.
Yeah!!!!!!!!
Hurry up, hurry up! LOL!
(I emailed you when I completed the only you album.) Can't think if I bought anything else.
Still love your designs.

Love the design. Those baby chicks bring back memories of the days when we had chicks too. They are fun 'cept in the cold snowy winters.

What beautiful projects Melissa! Good luck to your hubby with his lawn...my hubby is also in the "Spring" frame of mind and is determined for our yard to be greener and prettier than anyones! Such cute chicks! We have about 26 chickens and I adore them! Even chickens have their own little personality. We have Bantoms (the little ones) and they are so cute!

I would love to be the new owner of the Baby Book! I stalk your blog just about daily - and I LOVE your work! I just had a beautiful baby girl after 17 years of trying, and I can't think of a better way to journal this memory than with this book/box!
Thanks you.

Okay that photo of your adorable daughter makes me want to rent a kid and some chicks to take Spring photos... too cute! I think one of the things I miss most about Ansley as a baby was going into her room each morning and finding her standing at her crib with her arms out and a big smile. Melted my heart then and now when I think about it. Your projects are gorgeous as always.
