Hello....happy weekend....hey batter, batter :)
T-Ball season is just about underway here, and so when Nichole challenged the Papertrey Ink Designers to create something with Heather's newest, and sweetest sets called All Star Team and All Star Team Additions...I knew I had to pretty it up for my little girl in honor of her pink batting helmet.
I am in vintage grunge heaven....truly, I had so much fun with this set...and eating the icing off the top of these cupcakes of course...who really needs the cake, eh? It's all about the loads of lard on top :)
Here are some super fun links for your viewing pleasure tonight....I'm checking each one out as well.
Becky Oehlers, Betsy Veldman, Dawn McVey, Debbie Olson, Geny Cassady, Heather Nichols, Lauren Meader, Lisa Johnson, Mish Wooderson, Nichole Heady, and Niki Estes.
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock in Hibiscus Burst, ink in Dark Chocolate, Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist Vintage Buttons, Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist satin ribbon, Hibiscus Burst Bitty Dot ribbon, and some new Friends 'Til the End patterend paper. Mixed in with all of these lovelies, is some Melissa Frances paper, ric rac, and some good old gooey frosting :)
Tomorrow I'll have a picture of my cheery front door.
Have a wonderful night.
Melis
YES!!! I love that you went GIRLY!!! Such a yummy ensemble Melis! Can we get together to make cupcakes soon? Brilliant idea to use the pinking scissors on the flag... Love you girl!

You and I would be great friends if we were to meet! I would gladly let you have all the frosting (ok most all the frosting) if only I could eat the cake! Frosting too sweet - cake good!! Love the little bit of loveliness tonight! And I thoroughly enjoyed reading up about you on the moxie fab website! Happy Easter!

Absolutely love your card using the sports set. And I agree with you that frosting, esp. chocolate buttercream, is the best!

I think my favorite part is the fact that you zig-zag cut the edges of your pennants!
Very cute Melissa!

LOVE how you have used this. When I saw it, I was thinking about little boys BUT your work absolutely demonstrates you can use it for little girly-girls as well! I think the comment on Moxie was exactly right, your style is distinctive and runs through everything you do. Thanks for the (continued) amazing inspiration! Girls RULE!
