sigh...it's beautiful, balmy, sunny, spring-y, and green here today. I feel badly for complaining about the snow we had the other day that just happens to contribute to making everything so green....but today, my windows are open, I have short sleeves, no socks, my favorite Mary Janes, and I can smell DIRT :) I love the way things smell when the earth starts warming up. My husband loaded us into the truck yesterday evening and we took a ride down the canyon...it was glorious, everything was beautiful...a carpet of green...smells of Mother Nature were everywhere....the birds were singing, our windows were down, we were smiling, and happy to be together.
So much is happening in my normally uneventful life right now....building a house, selling a house, getting ready for the Reflections Event, working on some exciting projects....I'll share as much as I can when I can.
One little item or two for you today.
Lots of Melissa Frances lovelies here....paper, clear stamps, cardstock stickers, rubons, gems, even the tag is from a new MF booklet.
And, this was created for the Emma's Paperie blog....our assignment was to create something for Mother's Day. This is a bookmark made with paper-crafting supplies....I love pretty little things like this and thought it would be fun to give to my mom as she is always reading something :) All of the supplies used for this can be found HERE at Emma's along with some beautiful projects from the other designers.
Another sweet quote to leave you with today.
"Living by basic good-mothering guidelines enables a mom to blend the responsibilities of parenthood with its joys; to know when to stand her ground and when to be flexible; and to absorb the lessons of the parenting gurus while also trusting her inner voice when it reasons that another cookie isn't worth fighting over or that her child won't suffer irreparable trauma if, once in awhile, Mom puts her own needs first."

Hope you have a wonderful day.
