Are you ready....buckles on I hope...becaaaaause I've got a big, fat, juicy, old giveaway to share with you today :) The Moxie Fab World and Paper Crafts Connection blogs are still partying....all because of this beautiful new special issue called 225 Cards & Gifts. This issue is filled with gifts such as card sets, gift card holders, gift wraps, food wraps, home décor gifts, and miscellaneous gifts as well.
Today I get to share with you a handmade gift created just for this fun day of blog hopping, PLUS direct you to 11 other blogs with beautiful handmade gifts created just for you. One of my most favorite gift containers is nothing more than a little old jar. Oh, so many fun things to do with one of these treasures. So today, I had a batch of freshly baked muffins ready to go, and decided to pop a couple in a jar, create a recipe, and get them ready to give to someone special.
I used the Rustic Branches stamp set from Papertrey Ink here along with Spring Moss and Vintage Cream satin ribbon, Vintage Cream saddle stitch ribbon, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics paper, Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist Vintage buttons, and ink in Ocean Tides, Ripe Avocado, and Lavender Moon. The sweet Pinwheel Blossom on the jar is from Maya Road, and the tag and adhesive pearls are from Melissa Frances. I love mixing in fabric with my paper-crafting as well....so touchable and homespun.
Here are a list of fun blogs for you to visit to participate in this giveaway:
Maren Benedict, Kimberly Crawford, Beatriz Jennings, Kim Kesti, Carolyn King, Anabelle O'Malley, Danni Reid, Roree Rumph, Sherry Wright, Moxie Fab World, and Paper Crafts Connection.
Answer the question provided on each blog or leave a comment, and you will have 12 chances to win one of the following prizes.
A Cricut Expression, a Your Story Laminator/Book Binder, and a Yudu Screen-Printing System, all from Provo Craft! Ummm...the greedy, snotty side of me, really wants to get in on all of this....but, nonetheless...this is all for you :)
Pheeeeew...I hope that all made sense :) The deadline for commenting on all 12 blogs is midnight MST, Sunday, April 26th.
SOOOOO....here's my question, and then off you go...hopping along.
Tell me what you're favorite gourmet muffin or cupcake is. You know me, always on the lookout for a new recipe....we've been seeing these boring old brown things of mine for far too long now. Time to mix it up a bit :)

I love all your creations!!! They are beautiful... I don't have favorite gourmet muffin or cupcake because I simply don't have time to bake them...

This is the yummiest set EVER!!! I love that your packaging for muffins is just an ordinary old jar all cutesied (that's a word) up!!! I always try to find boxes for things like that, and then they go and get all dried out. This is genius!
My favorite gourmet cupcake is from a cupcake shop (Mini's) here in Salt Lake. It's a lemon cupcake with lemon curd filling, and a toasted marshmallowy meringue on top. IN-CREDIBLE!

Double chocolate marshmallow malteaser, a recipe of my own devising is quite good, I love when muffins are gooey, but here in the UK we usually have cakes not muffins, so I would love to find out why the difference.

My most favourite gourmet muffin would be double chocolate but I have yet to find a recipe I LOVE. So of the ones I make, it would be a whole wheat banana cranberry muffin.
Love all your projects here. You have a wonderful blog.

I'm a cupcake and muffin queen, as I make them ALL the time. There's something about a perfect little cake sized just for one person! I'm boring though, I usually stick to corn or banana muffins (I skip the nuts since I'm allergic) and funfetti cupcakes.

I don't bake them but I do buy them. Our local Port City Java has a delicious cappuccino muffin yum!

I really like red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing--or butter cream icing too. I make them sometimes too, but they are always from the box.

My fav is the tried and true Raisin Bran Muffin (with applesauce and wheat germ added in). Yum, my mother still makes these too.

What an awesome project!! I love the idea behind it and your muffins look scrumptious. My favorite muffin is blueberry - made with fresh ripe blueberries, of course. YUMMY! I also love red velvet cupcakes... they are to die for! But they must be topped with cream cheese icing or else they're not the real thing. :)
