It made me feel so good to read this post today. Your such a good Mom. And there is nothing better then that. Loved the awesome card too. Thanks for sharing with all of us!

today I want to thank you not only for posting gorgeous art work but also for your lovely writing. I feel the same passion for my children however I am not nearly as poetic about it. Thanks for putting words not only to your feelings but mine also.

Melissa, thank you for sharing such a moving post. I know precisely what you mean. I adore the winged bird and the lace and oh the bow and pin. A keen quote for such a touching post!

Thanks for sharing all the things I was thinking but could not express! I love the card! Beautiful work as always!

Cam

I visit your blog as much for your words as your cards. Both are art.

Melissa, the thoughts you shared today are so true! Life is sweet and short and beautiful. I lost my dear friend on Friday morning. A reminder again that life is short and no one knows just how much longer we will live on this earth. Cherish every moment with your family and loved ones!

It's good not to push until you loose this creating passion - I think it has it's own cycle at times. Good to keep things in perspective - sometimes I wish I could have those earlier years back. My daughter is 13 now and things are just different... And the harder I try to hold on, the more she pushes...

Janelle

I'm much older than you are and at a different stage of life, but I appreciate your bits of wisdom that you share. You are wise beyond your years. Keep cherishing that little one -- she's at a very precious age! (And, I love your cards, too!)

Jana

Good for you Melissa. Focus your energy on your lovely family as much as you want to. :-)

Michele

It is wonderful that you have a great guy and a beautiful daughter! I too was just thinking today how lucky I am.....My sweet hubby told me at dinner tonight (with our two children) how he loves the fact that we laugh so much as a family.......I thought that was so sweet for him to notice that..........

Your beautiful projects and words reflect your sweet heart! Thanks so much for reminding us all of what is truly important, Melissa! Many hugs!
