yep...my button love fest continues here with a new and completely irresistible stamp set designed by Nichole Heady for Papertrey Ink. Tonight I'll send you on a blog hop that will leave you smiling...the projects the designers created for you to enjoy are truly cute as a button :)
I've been missing my fabric scraps lately and decided to dig them out and do a bit of sewing and stitching for my project.
The next best thing in my book to a cherry on top...is a button...I decided to stamp my image onto a piece of tea-stained muslin and then stitched over it using embroidery floss and accented the cherry images with stacked buttons in Sweet Blush and then topped them with an adhesive pearls....one of my favorite things to add to buttons just to create a little variety.
And then of course....a card to complete the package and made mostly just because I can't resist that cherry image....so cute.
For this project I used the following Papertrey Ink supplies along with the new stamp set:
Rustic Cream cardstock, New Leaf and Ripe Avocado ink, Sweet Blush satin ribbon and vintage buttons, and my favorite Chamomile Tea Vintage ink. In addition to these supplies I used some of the newest, sweetest Basic Grey papers from the Lemonade collection and adhesive pearls from Melissa Frances.
Now for some fun...lots of fun ideas waiting for you...enjoy:
These are so LOVELY and feminine, Melissa. TFS your beautiful pillow and card.
