Plant a seed...grow a dream.
I feel spring in the air....I love the smells, the fresh air...feeling the earth waking up after a long winter. Spring has such a special beauty and hope to it.
I'm back with my project centered around this beautiful photo from A Creative Mint.
This photo was so inspiring to me....I have been taking a minute each day just to let it sit on my screen and as I pass by doing this and that, I catch a glimpse and notice something new. I was inspired in a very different way with this photo....I saw life, growth, joy, and happiness...and so I chose to try and incorporate all of those things in a little card set I made.
I started with the color palette of orange, purple, and cream...and then the cards started to bloom from there...once the seed was planted.
The paper used on this set is from Green at Heart by Basic Grey, the vintage images from Crafty Secrets, stamps from Papertrey Ink, and then I used tea-stained trim and twill tape to finish them off.
I'll be visiting your blogs to see the beautiful creations you've made throughout the week. Thank you for sharing your creations with me. Stay tuned for another challenge.
One more card before I go....created for the Darkroom Door blog. Supplies and instructions can be found HERE...and be sure to check out Rachel's new stamp sets...they are amazing. Sneak peeks coming soon here on my little old blog.
Off to be busy.
Enjoy your day friends.
Melis
