The birds whistling outside my window this morning...the little girl who wanted just one more hug before she left for school...the lunches packed to care for hungry tummies...the sage and cedars brightening from gray to green...the home bursting at the seams with the beautiful melody of life's daily dance....the prayers that bring me peace and hope...the blessing of motherhood...the caring hearts and helping hands of those placed in my path...the family that I think about, pray for, and worry about every day...I am thankful for it all...
A little something to place nearby me in my craft room (that is until my little girls sneaks off with it as she has been doing lately...I will happily share as she shares her own sweet masterpieces so lovingly with me)...created for Emma's Paperie this week....all supplies can be found HERE. Many beautiful projects from the other designers can be found on the blog as well.
Since I loved the colors used in the first project so much....I decided to make just one more little something while I was at it....sparkles and tea-stained trims, and sweet things included...
This card was created using Papertrey Ink's Delightful Dahlia stamp set, Smokey Shadow and Dark Chocolate Ink, and Aqua Mist cardstock. A bit of Melissa Frances paper was used along with a snippet from DCWV, scrunched seam binding from Memrie Mare, and other treasures that I love and enjoy.
I'm hoping to have a few things placed in my etsy shop very soon...if not tonight, then tomorrow for sure.
Have a beautiful day.
Melis

I love, love, love glitter. :) You use it so perfectly... And you're showing me that I shouldn't be so afraid of Smokey Shadow. :) Beautiful projects.

You create such beautiful cards. I luv the intricate details and the fact that you are not afraid of working with glitter. What's your secret with glitter? I've tried glitter glue, crystal effects and some other products but I find glitter difficult to work with. Help!

Beautiful! I would also like to know how you apply the glitter to the paper. I'd like to try it. Thanks!
