It's a rain-kissed kind of day today. While I certainly love the sunshine...I prefer cloudy skies...I love how the clouds swirl throughout the day...I love to watch the storms roll in...and here where we live...rain is a treat. Everything here is soaked and smells so fresh...my favorite rain-kissed kind of day.
Not much to chat about today....just sharing a couple of card sets with you and some links.
Michelle at This Good Day has created some of the most delicious new scrunched seam binding flavors for you....you'll see them on the cards above....Fresh Picked Lettuce, Pink Grapefruit, and Melon Mimosa....they are even more beautiful in person. I have been hoarding my pretty Prima flowers lately...they are even more beautiful in person as well...but I couldn't resist using them on these sweet cards....I also used vintage trim remnants to tuck in here and there...chipboard frames, and my favorite Technique Tuesday stamp set.
This next set of cards uses framed fronts from Tattered Angels, Melissa Frances paper, vintage trim, beautiful scrunched seam binding from Memrie Mare, and the Spiral Bouquet stamp set from Papertrey Ink along with Smokey Shadow and Sweet Blush ink...I LOVE the beautiful font used in this stamp set...big, bold, and so pretty.
Lastly....I am linking you to an old bow tutorial I did for the Card Positioning Systems blog (she's an oldie...so be gentle)....I've had so many requests for another tutorial and am working on a very special post...but it's taking me a while...cause I want it to be special...so for now....check out the other and perhaps it will help answer a few questions.
Have a wonderful day!
Melis

I have a question for you. As beautifully dimensional as your cards always are, I'm wondering how you mail them? With lovely bows, buttons and embellishments, do you have special envelopes and extra postage or do you hand deliver them?

I love your cards. Especially the first one with the pink rose and the sugar glitter on the petals. Your cards always convey a 'special dreamlike' touch to them. Have a great weekend!

I'm wondering if you will demo how you do your double bows when you do the new demo? I would love to master that skill ....your cards are simply amazing and I'm your biggest fan! Thanks so much for always being there for us!

I love the rain too. I know that those of us who love a cloudy, rain-soaking day are in the minority, but whenever I find someone who can appreciate the beauty of such a day, I feel as though I have found a kindred spirit.
These cards are so beautiful with their soft colors and feminine embellishments.
