I must admit to having a fetish with these wonderful creations....they have a life and category all to themselves...they have always tempted me...I resisted for a very long while...I think they intimidated me...I have never taken a class....don't feel like I know the first thing about stamping...am sure I break some rules....but I am proud to admit....I love them through and through... I am hooked....they are very friendly...they don't mind how you use them...they love to get inky...and they are incredibly therapeutic and enchanting....very hard to explain, but all I know is that I reach for them daily...they are simple pleasures.
Much to share tonight...I'll stop with the chatting and will get right to the juicy stuff....Papertrey Ink new releases.
This first card uses the sweetest of the sweet...the Year of Flowers: Sweet peas stamp set...it reminds me of my pretty, little Grandma, who I miss so much sometimes it hurts.
This card uses a new obsession of mine...Dawn McVey's Background Basics: Woodgrain stamp set....it's so tasty...I will love it 'til my fingers can't stamp anymore. Also used on this card is a Fillable Frames #3 die and stamp set.
Next up is Lisa Johnson's sweet Chair-ished stamp set....ohhh...and a little of that Woodgrain sneaking in too....ohhh...and a new Woodgrain Impression Plate as well.
Now for some Masculine Motifs....and more Woodgrain....the dragonfly in the Masculine Motifs stamp set tempted me ever so gently to cross the lines with it and go shabby and girly....I said yes, yes....you're right...
A little something for that boy of mine....using the Masculine Motifs stamp set and A Little Argyle.
I loved making this card with him in mind...this stamp set is magical and I just love it. I won't apologize for the bows....nope...someday when I'm gone, my bows will keep him company. You also might notice some more texture here with the Argyle Impression Plate used in the background.
S'more Argyles for you...and some Spring Moss planes stamped using the new Fly Away set...very sweet indeed.
Heather Nichols has a fun new addition set out that coordinates with her All Star Team and All Star Team Additions sets...the new set is called Have a Ball...created with my little athlete in mind of course...who is anxiously awaiting the beginning of T-Ball season so she can pick the dandelions and play in the dirt throughout the game :)
And...lastly...something for the graduate...just in time...and so fun and versatile.
This set is called For the Graduate...and I can just see presenting my little 1st Grader with this happy, bright, and bubbly card that suits her sweet personality. The possibilities are endless and you'll find some of the most beautiful and amazing ideas showing how to use all of these stamp sets waiting for you in the Papertrey Ink Designer's Gallery.
Thanks so much for your visit...as always....I appreciate you!
Tomorrow a very special guest will be joining me on my blog...can't wait to share her with you....but you must remember that she's all mine.
Night.
Melis
