I'm sorry to disappear on you all...it wasn't my intention. I have some goodies to share with you including a new photo challenge....this little card, and of course...the winner of the $50.00 Crafty Secrets gift certificate.
First, a little bit about this card....it uses something new and pretty from Memrie Mare's etsy shop...I'm referring to the tiny flower bits in the center of the button here....they are so sweet. Also another peek at Papertrey Ink's 2009 Anniversary Set, the Birds of a Feather stamp set, Rustic Cream cardstock,Sweet Blush ink and button, and True Black ink. The scrunched seam binding is from my friend Mish....you can find some occasionally sold in her etsy shop.

Next...I've picked a new photo to inspire us all....this is one of my most favorites by Leslie...something about those flip flops, daisies, and lemon slices....as usual, all you need to do is let this photo inspire you...have fun, create something beautiful, and then link it here on this post and I'll be around to visit and enjoy. Thanks so much Leslie for allowing us to use your photos.
And now...thank you all so much for the amazingly sweet and heartfelt comments you left on my last post regarding memories of your mother and grandmothers....I truly have never been so inspired...the stories you told brought on some of the sweetest memories I hold of my own grandmas and mother....they inspired me to try and leave a more meaningful and memorable mark on my little girl...I even packed up a bunch of beautiful buttons to take to church with us last Sunday after reading about a little button stash that one of your grandmothers always had in her purse for you...I want to make more messes in the kitchen and enjoy the sweet, simple joys of childhood more after reading about all of the memories you have of time with your sweet grandmas...selfishly, this was one of my most favorite blogging experiences...I came away so uplifted and I hope you all did as well.
The winner of the Crafty Secrets $50.00 gift certificate goes to....(and please remember that this person was chosen randomly)....RHONDA ZAMORA!
Congratulations Rhonda....please contact me and I'll get you in the business of shopping for some beautiful Crafty Secrets goodies.
Create something beautiful today.

Melis, you are driving me WILD with those bows you tie using scrunched seam binding!!! Will you do a tutorial for us (photos or videos)? TOMORROW? PLEASE?!?!?! It's not like I don't know how to tie a bow, but I don't know how to make one like you do! With the double loops and fluffy look (esp. when seam binding tends to look frumpy and grumpy...) Thanks in advance!!! I look forward to the tutorial ... tomorrow ... hee :)

Hi Melissa!
LOVE your birdie cards-they are so cool with that Basic Grey paper. I've also made a card for the inspiration challenge:
