Waiting for the storm to pass so my little bean and I can head over the mountains to see Grandma and Grandpa....we may have to wait another week though.
Today's first card was created for The Color Room based on a sunny days, clear blue sky, kind of palette...I love it...it might just be my new favorite color combo.
I used Papertrey Ink's Love Lives Here dies, Little Bitty Bird and Say it With Style stamp sets, Summer Sunrise buttons, My Mind's Eye and Papertrey Ink paper, a Melissa Frances die, and Neptune Cabbage Roses Ribbon from memriemare.
I've chosen the following image from A Creative Mint for our next inspiration challenge....soooooo completely vibrant and fresh...just what I needed.

Remember to link your creation in the comments section on this post...let the bright colors cheer and inspire you! Thank you Leslie for always sharing.
Happy weekend!
Melis

Hi Melissa,
I'm a stay at home mom of 5 precious children 11 and under and I lived in Boston my whole life. I just needed to tell you how much I not only enjoy peeking at your blog every few days to see your beautiful creations, but also to read your words and your day to day update of your life out West. It's almost like I can see and feel what you're writing. Thanks for those descriptions that really show me another world especially when it's so different from citylife! Thank you and have a beautiful weekend! Julie
