There is something so magical and serene about a field full of wheat. It fascinates me and seems to speak of home. We lived in Idaho for a couple of summers early in our marriage while my husband held internship positions and I can honestly say I have never seen anything as beautiful as endless fields of grain gently blowing in the breeze.
Needless to say, today I used one of my favorite Papertrey Ink stamp sets called First Fruits with its sweet bundle of wheat. The sentiments are a mix from this set and the Fall Elegance set. The chipboard frame is from Tattered Angels and was coated in Glimmer Mist.
The scrunched seam binding can be found at Craft Spot.

Something that made me teary...so true and I'm so thankful to experience it through my little bean's eyes...she helps me remember my own beautiful season of childhood.
Have a wonderful day.

How beautiful! Such gorgeous pictures and story.
I know what you mean, we moved to Saskatchewan, Canada last year and there's nothing better than seeing huge golden fields of wheat..waving in the breeze..then seeing them all gone at harvest time.. or rolled into big hay bales..
