Welcome to the Sizzix Fresh Vintage Blog Hop. I was invited to create something for you using the Sizzix Scoreboards Die Butterfly...it's such a sweet die with so many possibilities.
I used papers, chipboard, and cardstock stickers from the Melissa Frances 5th Avenue collection along with rub-on transfers, applique frame, and pocket also from Melissa Frances. I filled the completed pocket with Godiva Caramel Apple chocolates for a fun "thinking of you" gift, but it could easily hold a handmade card set, vintage trims and buttons to share with a friend, or any number of things.
I created the butterfly by first die cutting it from two coordinating patterned papers, inking the edges, layering them, and then coating them with Lily White Doodlebug Sugar Coating. I then layered on the embellishments to make the butterfly special and unique. The scrunched seam binding can be found at Craft Spot.
Thanks so much for stopping by. If you'll use the "Hop Forward" link in the button on my sidebar, you'll be led to several other designer's blogs who've also created something to share with you using dies from Sizzix Fresh Vintage.
FAQ about the Fresh Vintage Blog Hop:
How do I hop around to see ideas using the current featured die?
What if I start at a designer's blog that isn't one of the 6-10 signed up for that die?
Can I go back and view the ideas for a previously featured die?
Where can I buy the Sizzix Fresh Vintage dies, by Eileen Hull?
The Blog Hop has ended and the navigation widget is no longer in the sidebar. How can I see the ideas?
I love it as I knew I would! You make everything so beautiful Melissa... Thank you so much for adding your talents to this group! Hugs...

Beautiful pocket, Melissa! Simply dreamy. Love your autumn card too, from your previous post.
Guess the haircut is better in the front than in the back...? I think I'd be traumatized too! What kids will do :)
