Welcome to November's first Papertrey Ink group post. Today we are highlighting the new Door to Door stamp set designed by Nichole. The set is full of images that center around the home and what greets you first, the welcoming front door.
Nichole has also designed accompanying dies to use to create a window of sorts where the front door opens and you can peek right through to what's inside. There are also dies available to dress up your front door or porch including a wreath, topiaries, pots, plants, pumpkins, flowers, and a banner fit for just the right sentiment for your creation.
I chose to create something in an Easter theme for my project and used one of Papertrey Ink's Nugget Tins with a clear top. Last year you may have remembered me using Krylon Celery paint on just about everything....well, since they have discontinued that color, I had to find a new love. Catalina Mist from Krylon is even more beautiful...you'll love it. I sprayed my tin and distressed the edges with ink, and then coated it with mica flakes. The front of the tin is embellished with the Parisian Lace die, Aqua Mist Swiss Dot Satin, a Sweet Blush button, and the new Door to Door stamps.
I created a miniature Spring crafting kit and included pastel buttons, vintage trims, flowers, speckled eggs, vintage inspired postcards found at After Midnight Design, and a handmade tag which uses the Doily Details die collection, and stamps from the Egg Hunt and Daily Designs sets.
I also used quite a few cute things from The Little Pink Studio...you'll love shopping there too!
Thanks so much for stopping by...I know it's not even Christmas yet and here I am making something Easter-y...
Each designer has a different theme to create for and has projects waiting to share with you as well:
WOW Melis, this tin is beautiful!!!!
I can't believe they discontinued the celery color, bummer, it was a great color... But, you are so good with colors that you managed to find an even more beautiful color, yay!! And thank you so much for sharing, I will probably march to the store tomorrow to get myself a can. :)
Great project Melis!!
