Back to business around here...business that I love, that of being a momma and wife and all of the wonderful things that come with those roles, back to a familiar routine that I love, and heading into a new year. I have to say that I find the beginning of each year so refreshing and exciting. I find hope in it and inspiration. This past year has been a bumpy, hard one for me personally, with so many blessings intertwined that I am happy to seek for each day. Searching out and recognizing them makes me feel loved and somehow the hard things just seem to be a bit more manageable, they don't go away, but I can handle them. I have so much to be thankful for and am looking forward to a new year to grow and explore and push myself out of my cozy, comfort zone and into new territory!
I have a couple of cards to share with you today, this first uses Prima paper and a Glitz Design cardstock sticker. The chipboard heart in a circle is an oldie but a goodie from American Crafts.
The stamps used are from Papertrey Ink's Embellishments and Love & Marriage stamp sets. The scrunched seam binding is from My Craft Spot, the trim is vintage, and the pearls are from Melissa Frances.
This next card was made for Emma's Paperie and has the sweetest sentiment I have ever come across. It is from a chipboard piece found in a collection from Prima...I just love what it says, reminds me of how I feel about my beautiful mom.
You can find a complete supply list HERE at Emma's Paperie if you feel like doing some shopping!
Lastly, one of many hanging heart pincushions I have in the works. I'll be listing them in my etsy shop here in the next few days. I love the warm colors in this one.
Little lovelies, crocheted by my mom.
Hope your day is wonderful! Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Melissa, just thinking of you and your little one as I watch my own little one grow every day. I didn't think it possible, but your work gets even lovelier every day - you are such an incredible talent and inspire me so! The pincushion is just gorgeous, as are the cards. Hope to have a chance to visit your blog and dream with your musings more often this year - I especially connect to your posts about your sweet girl - it's as if you took the words out of my heart and wrote them down. Happy New Year!

Your endless ideas and gorgeous creations are always such inspiration!! As always they are all wonderful but the pin cushion is most especially lovely!! It is amazing how all those big boulders in life all become surmountable when we are surrounded with the love of a beautiful family!! My sweet mama has been extremely ill for 2 months and taking care of her has surely reminded me of how special family is and how blessed I have been to have such a loving family! Looking forward to your creations this year and hope that the blessing of the Lord overflow you.

OH my goodness Melissa, I am wiping the drool off my keyboard!! On the "you are the most beautiful.." card - can you tell me anything about that teal flower? You probably made it yourself, I'm wondering what type of fabric it is! It's glorius! And the heart pincushion - the colors, the pom pom trim and pearls is all so gorgeous, pretty sure I'll have to buy one! Thanks in advance
