I'm back...it's me again and I'm here to share pretty peeks with you of Papertrey Ink's new Anniversary Set: Pretty Peonies. It's GORGEOUS! This lovely set can be earned with Customer Rewards points. Please visit Nichole's blog for more details on just how you can obtain yours.
The first thing that attracted me to this set was of course the beautiful images, but then once the set arrived and I started fooling around with it, I noticed what sweet sentiments it contains. For this first card I used the "Love You Forever" sentiment and then attached a tag created with the Tiny Tag die and stamp set to personalize if for my mom. The pink peony and green butterfly were stamped, hand cut and then coated with glitter...of course (sorry all of you non-glitter-lovers).
I created another Mother's Day card to share with you using the sentiment from this set and more lovely images. You can see there are two different large peony images included in this set...a solid image and an outlined image.
In conjunction with this set I also used the Friendship Jar stamp set and dies just because I love it so!
Love, love, love the large "happy" image included!
Lastly I mixed it up a bit by going with a card rich in color and warmth. Sometimes I get stuck in a soft, pastel color palette and need to push myself out of it.
Another thoughtful sentiment is shown here along with solid stamped peonies and then across the top and bottom of the card you can see a peek at a darling small peony! So much to love about this set.
