So crazy about jars...I always have been. Think of all of the roads they have traveled, the love they hold, and what they represent to the heart of the home. Homemade preserves, filled with love and hard work, simplicity, sacrifice, perspective, grandmothers and mothers, nourishing souls and tummies all at once. It's no wonder I love them and am fascinated by them and keep getting drawn in by their homespun qualities.
This little card may look familiar as the original was one of my favorites. I gave it a bit of an update with different colors and using a different sentiment found in the Super Stars stamp set. I love remaking cards when I find myself stumped...it's a great way to get the creative juices flowing again.
I also used the Friendship Jar stamp set and coordinating dies, Super Stars border die, My Craft Spot scrunched seam binding, Doodlebug Lily White Sugar Coating, and My Mind's Eye papers.
The sentiment is stamped using my new favorite color, Classic Kraft...what did I ever do without this shabby color!
The Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection is another favorite right now as it features the sweetest mason jars filled with hearts, stars, etc. You can find this collection of papers and embellishments at Emma's Paperie.
The sentiment here was stamped using the Little Bitty Bird stamp set with the stitched heart from the Tiny Tags set.

What delightful jar creations Melissa. I'm over the moon for the first one with the stars and twinkle! I love jars too and have several in my art studio to store all kinds of goodies 😊...there's just something special about their sparkle and getting a peek at what's inside!!

So many beautiful projects. Thank you for sharing your creativity. If you get a chance, I have a question...what kind of paper do you print the vintage images from Iralamija's Etsy shop? photo paper? Your projects "take me away" to another place and time. I love the vintage feel to them. Reminds me of my Grandma. All the best :)

My Mother, her Mother and hers, were all canners... somehow it got lost a bit on me. But I still share their love and yours of the jars! I have been a collector and love to use them for many different uses! Thanks for all your beautiful cards today, it brought me back to some very wonderful memories!

I so love jars also and that history. It is a family thing. So funny that I have a uncle who loves to dig up old jars. My favorite stamp set is the Friendship Jar series by Mish. Love your cards as always.
