I hope your day has been all of these things, lovely, happy, and beautiful. Mine certainly has. Life is good!
I'm here with a couple of things to share with you tonight...sharing my love of shabby! It's delicious I think.
Most of the items used on this first project are from Maya Road. One of my most favorite companies as they pretty much just have it all...chipboard, yummy velvet ribbons, Kraft galore, trinkets, stamps, trims, embellishments, the list goes on and on.
The actual chipboard artist tray is from Maya Road as well and I just gave it a coat of off-white acrylic paint, sanded it, aged it with distress ink and then went to town filling it full of pretty things I love.
And, yes...here we go again with jars and stars :) They are lovely, happy, and beautiful and I have so much fun creating with them, not to mention that I love the sentiments in the Super Stars stamp set from Papertrey Ink and I hadn't used the sentiment included on this card yet...so I switched up the colors a bit and recreated one more card.
This card uses the Friendship Jar, Super Stars, and Tiny Tags stamp sets, along with Super Star, Tiny Tags, Jar, and Jar Toppers dies.
And....I have been craving Cinnamon Roll Cake for days now...maybe tonight is the night to get busy and just make it already! My friend Kendra made this not too long ago and it was SO heavenly. Most definitely comfort food for the soul.

Night.

*sigh*. You're creations are just beautiful! I love the card and the keepsake box. Just gorgeous! The cinnamon roll cake pic has my mouth watering. It's 9:22 pm here. Too late for me to cook and if I did I might eat the whole thing. Maybe I will have sweet dreams about it?

Oh my goodness these are both so beautiful! I'm totally adoring the card, I love it when you use the star die, and stitch it down the middle! And the sugary-glitter is so perfect!!!

Your tray is absolutely precious. I have had one (from 7 gypsies) for about a year, but I haven't done anything with it yet because I want it to be perfect... you have inspired me with so many lovely ideas today. Thank you so much, Melissa... I hope your day is fabulous! P.S. That cake looks so delish! Definitely going to have to try it! :)
