Hi everyone! I'm happy to be back at it again....but loved spending the Thanksgiving holiday with those I love. My husband's smoked turkey was my favorite Thanksgiving treat along with Ashley's mashed potatoes...I think she puts sour cream in them...so heavenly, and also Granny's turkey gravy. Those were the only things I needed...I'm a simple girl. Tonight is family night and we'll spend the evening digging out the Christmas decorations and putting away all of my fall favorites for another year.
I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the Christmas season this year. I've just about got all of my shopping done and am way ahead of myself for a change this year...it feels good and is leaving much more time to enjoy this magical time of year instead of rushing and stressing.
My card today is a remake of a recent card...something I love doing. I used Papertrey Ink's In the Meadow stamp set and die along with a Maya Road altered wooden button, vintage buttons and trim, scrunched seam binding from My Craft Spot, Wide Green Candy Stripe washi tape from Freckled Fawn, and a vintage Santa badge from A Flair for Buttons.
Here is a peek at the original...
Before I go and since shopping until you drop is the name of the game, here are a few great deals for you:
Freckled Fawn is offering a 20% discount on your entire order!
And Frost it Pink is offering 10% off orders over $50.00. You can read more about it here.
Emma's Paperie is having a great sale as well!
Are any of you cyber shopping on this Cyber-Monday? I stocked up on Bath and Body Works holiday hand soaps...one of my simple pleasures which I like to share with others, and also snagged me a few Yankee Candles....another simple pleasure :)
Happy Shopping and thanks for visiting!
Melis

I have to say that over all these years, Melissa, you remain one of my favorite Christmas card artists. I still have two of yours that I bought when I first found you -- I just like looking at them. These are amazing!

These are both so pretty Melissa. I think the PTI heart border is one of my very favorites! I really like to use it with felt ;)

You make it hard to choose a favorite. I love the design of both cards with the buttons on the trees and both color schemes are wonderful.
