My mom is the sweetest, one of my Valentines, as I have many. I am a simple girl and simple things make me happy, such as a glossy red, Coca-Cola. Today as I ventured into town to the Post Office, there was a package from my sweet mama containing a big, beautiful bag of Valentine M&M's. You see, we don't get luxuries like these around here...we have to travel long and far for them, so you can imagine my excitement. She's adorable and always so thoughtful. Thanks Mom. They look so pretty with my Coke.
Today's card uses the colors of the season...reds, creams, and pinks. I used Papertrey Ink's Knit Bits, Fancy Flourishes, and With All My Heart stamp sets.
I also used the Tremendous Tags die collection.
Basic Grey True Love chipboard and die cuts, Jenni Bowlin, and Cosmo Cricket paper were also used here today.
Hope you had a great Monday!
Melis
Wow! I just LOVE your style! You always put red on almost every card you make and give it a twist in such a way that it looks even prettier than it is!

What a sweet package from your mom Melissa. Your card compliments it perfectly with your soft colors, the flourishes and that darling tag, so pretty!
When our son was a tiny little fella my dad would bring him home a bag of peanut m&ms from the candy machine at work. For the longest time he thought grandpa worked at the m&m factory!!

Its always a special treat to get a love package in the mail, and even the better when its from mom! Such a beautiful card, the pinks and reds and cute checked heart make me smile ;)

SO pretty. I love how you always use the Fancy Flourishes so perfectly - every time I think, "I need to pull those out", and then I forget to!
How thoughtful of your mum!! I used to live in a smaller town, where it wasn't as easy to find the more fun stuff, so I can relate!

pretty card, as always :) you must live somewhere like where my father spent his summers - on the family ranch in Ibapah (75 miles SE of Wendover)

Such a sweet and pretty card! I also love how you use flourishes. All the papers are really pretty especially the one you made!
You have a very sweet and thoughtful mom. It's so often the little things done with love that we tend to remember. It probably cost your mom more to mail the m&m's than it did to buy them but she knew they would bring a smile to your face.

While the thought of your mum sending you such a sweet package makes me smile knowing that the cycle will continue on through you, and then your little bean kinda makes my heart sing... love your lil family.
